Ok for short stay
Thought hotel would be nicer for the price we paid. Quite run down in places and I’m sure it was much nicer when it was newer. Pool area clearly used to have a pool bar, water features etc but these appear abandoned now. Gym small with little equipment. Technically has all the facilities to make it a higher standard hotel, just all a bit tired. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable on the front desk and check in was quick. Breakfast buffet was average. We’ve had better in all other places we’ve stayed in Costa Rica, even the basic lodges. Can walk into San Jose centre in 15mins but you do need to cross busy roads and the pavements are all broken with open drains to fall down - definitely need to watch your step. Ok as a transit hotel but I wouldn’t want to spend much time there.
