Puce flavored jetted tub!
The bed was comfy. The puce flavored jetted tub was beat-likely since the 90's. It got the job done for an overnighter in the city.

Welcome, and valued guests.....
We came into town to Celebrate the AD Giants Opening games, and also my Mom's 85th Birthday. Our room was as always very nice and big, and clean, with 2 very comfy king beds, frig, microwave, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Days Inn at Civic Center for always making us feel welcome, and as valued guests!!! We will be back!!!

Fine, but likely would never stay there again
The room was fine - clean and comfortable. But, the refrigerator didn't work, the shower was iffy (availability of hot water was variable at times (perhaps because our room was on the 3rd floor) and it was nearly impossible to control the temperature properly because the faucet handle was corroded/stripped - at times we'd almost get scalded if we or neighboring rooms flushed a toilet) and the air conditioner barely worked. The continental breakfast provided was minimalistic (not that we didn't expect it to be otherwise), but there was hardly any seating available so invariably we'd pick up breakfast and take it back to our room to eat. VERY LIMITED PARKING available in the hotel parking lot - invariably, if we went out for dinner we'd have to search for street parking (more limited availability than the hotel lot) or pay to park in nearby parking garages (despite being told free parking was available with the fare we paid) because the hotel lot would be filled. So, we chose instead to park early in the afternoon and go to dinner at places within reasonably walking distance, which severely limited our dining choices. All-in-all, we wouldn't stay there again, which is too bad because in terms of location (the surrounding neighborhood, not withstanding) in was very convenient and centrally located (i.e., within 20 mins of everywhere we wanted to go).

Not flashy but comfortable
Found the staff to be very helpful and welcoming. We needed to check out early but leave our car thru the early afternoon and the staff were able to accommodate our needs. The room was nothing flashy but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was of a good size and had great bright lighting. There was a private parking lot with several covered parking spots. The continental breakfast was adequate and convenient. The hotel was in convenient walking distance to lots of restaurants and the Civic Center. Overall for the price and location I thought it was a good deal and I would stay there again.

Great value!
Excellent stay at this conveniently located hotel. It is very clean, a bit old style in look but wonderful front desk personnel, simple breakfast foods and really terrific location in San Francisco near the opera house and main concert hall. And, plenty of great restaurants in the vicinity.
