We picked this property for the location and the fact that it was 2 bdrm/2 bath. It was a great value for those points alone. The property has very little ambience but we did not need to spend much time in the unit so we didn't care, but I would caution anyone to not expect much in details and ambience. Our "deck" was 5' below and 5' away from the parking lot, so totally uninviting. The building itself is old and the construction is obviously very cheap and dated; the furnishings were newer but very basic; no complaints about the beds or bedding, so that's a plus. But there are lots of detail and quality issues: When we first stepped inside at night, the light at the front door was burned out and we had to search in the dark for a light switch; the kitchen faucet was stuck in spray mode, and there was only hot water, no cold water! Kichenwares about as expected, but not one ice tray so couldn't make any ice! On the plus side, the showers had super pressure and lots of hot water, but one of the toilet seats was totally loose, and there was not one hook to hang anything in the bathrooms. Lighting is generally harsh and bright, not dimmable; no good reading lights/lamps; missing bulbs in some fixtures. Don't look at nooks and crannies-- or the water heater closet!-- as deep cleaning has really been neglected. All this said, we still think it was a good "no frills" place to stay for the money, given good beds, hot showers, and 2 bdrm/2 bath.
