Resort at Squaw Creek - Destination Hotels & Resorts, Olympic Valley

Hotel service very nice. Excellent ski valet and guest services. Easy access to squaw creek lift. Slight annoyance is we can’t leave boots at the ski valet and have to carry them back to the room...good pub for lunch and hot tub area is festive.

Room was in a poor condition upon arrival (not really clean), and had no bottled water provided on arrival, which was for us a big bummer because we went through a horrible storm and arrived nearly at midnight, therefor some drinking water in the room would have been nice and expected. The day after we arrived our room had a terrible smell coming from the garage disposal (which we never even got to use) and we called about 3-4 times for someone to help us deodorize the room and do the normal housekeeping. Nobody came until 7 PM, we had to go down in person to registration to finally have some response. Very disappointing. We been coming here for over 10 years now and it is truly "hit and miss". Unfortunately.

It was my first time here with my family. We had a great two night stay here. They have everything you need here during your stay. If you bring your own sleds you can go sledding next to the ski lift. My children did not want to take first time ski lessons with the heavy snowfall, but I am excited that they will be able to next time. We enjoyed Sandy’s pub and Six Peaks restaurants. They were delicious, a little pricey but worth it since you don’t have to leave your hotel to find a good restaurant. There’s nothing like enjoying the hot tub or swimming on a snowy day! This was such a nice getaway!!! We’ll be back next winter!!!
