Is adequate enough? Not for this price...
The room was just adequate enough... Space to walk and 2 single beds. The "Vanity Table" was again adequate but the TV was mounted at the top of it and hung over the mirror so I wasn't able to use it unless I was sitting down. The stool to sit on was tucked under on the left and I didn't see it till the last day there. The windows were pretty but the wind blew right through them and I had to move my head to the opposite end of the bed (foot end) where the other bed's foot was right in my face. The bathroom fittings & tiles looked newly reconstructed but the walls were old and painted over the mould so it was creeping back in. The bathroom door had damaged spots where something had bumped it, about 1/2" thick deep. Nothing was there though, just the previous damage. It was a 3 outta 5 thing- clean-ish, comfortable-ish, ok I guess but the price made you want more for it.... The service of the front desk tried very hard to make up for any ill feeling that one could possibly get.. They were helpful but also, they don't accept ANY cash. They offer goods (water, juice, an umbrella) for sale but it must be charged to your room and is a separate fee added.

extremely cramped ok if you are a stick insect
The room was really tiny. Absolutely no where to put a suitcase let alone 2 let alone hand luggage, quite an obstacle course to get to the bed. Since there is not one chair you are obliged to watch the tv in bed that's ok but there is no decent back rest to lean against. The bed was extremely small as well with one side of the double bed against the wall making it very very difficult to get in and out of the bed if your side of the bed was next to the wall like mine. Quite an effort to go to the toilet. and lastly the walls are paper thin not much fun listening to the next guest clearing his throat all night and acrobatics in bed complete with guest moaning in rhythm. Apart from the price and location not much going for it

Couldn't be closer to the Natural History Museum!
Location is very good - just across the road from the Natural History Museum, very convenient to Underground station. I think the price is excellent for the location. Reception is smart and the staff are absolutely lovely - very, very professional and welcoming. Paid for breakfast, it was simple but plentiful and it was pleasant to relax before heading out to work. Bedroom - it's London, bedrooms are small. Two single beds (solo traveller). Tiny bathroom but completely functional. Paintwork is a little tired, and some dust from A/C had fallen onto one of the beds. Other bed was fine. Sheets and pillowcases all very clean. Spoke to staff in morning about the dust and they were very apologetic. I slept really well (usually I don't when I travel!) and I would definitely stay again due to the super location and good price.

Mixed feelings but will probably go there again
It was probably my own fault, but while I thought I had booked a room with twin beds, my daughter & I ended up in a tiny room with a double bed pushed up against the wall. There were no twin rooms available by the time we arrived so we had to make do. My resourceful daughter asked for another duvet so we each had our own, & it was ok. The hotel is in a superb position just beside the Natural History Museum & so well placed for delights such as breakfast in the William Morris room at the V&A, not ten minutes’ walk away. Everything was clean & the towels were quite good quality. We were unable to get the heating to work, so just switched it off & did without.

The location was the best part of this hotel. It was close to to Tube stations and close to Museums. The hotel itself was not comfortable and had limited function due to small room size. We stayed there a week and had to live out of the suitcase as there was no dresser. We had to keep moving the suitcase so we could move around the room. There was no tissue paper, and the bathroom supplies were useless. We ended up having to buy our own. We had problems with the drainage of the shower/tub. We mentioned it but nothing was addressed. We had glasses which the front desk gave us for our drinks but they were never cleaned up the next morning even though we put them in the sink as a reminder. It would be better to have a stand up shower and a place to put your toiletries instead of a tub/shower. We realize that small hotel rooms are needed, but they could be better designed for more effective use.
