Hotel De Mendoza, Guadalajara
Quiet, clean, and comfortable
We happened to arrive sick (not due to anything at the hotel) and spent 3 of our 4 days in the room. The room was very quiet and clean, just what we needed to convalesce. The chicken soup we ordered from room service was perfect. On our last day we were feeling better and were delighted to find how perfectly located we were to see the sights. With minimal walking we enjoyed the plaza and even managed to get to see the Orozco murals.

Great historic hotel
We loved the location and the service. It is a historic hotel next to government buildings and so there were officials and business people staying there. Shopping and pedestrian areas nearby.

Unsatisfied customer!
If you have breathing issues, the hotel is not healthy. It is old, some rooms have old carpet, the smell is old, the ducts are dirty. I have asthma and stayed only one night to give me enough harm to my lungs. I had to have a breathing treatment done the next day. In addition, I accidentally typed in the wrong check-in date, and was not give a refund. This hotel management charged me for this error. I had to pay another night stay. did not support me and my claim for a refund. I am unhappy, unsatisfied with both the Hotel Management and Next time, deal directly with hotels for a reservation. As I am sure they will work with you directly.
