Charming and perfect!
This was our first time here, and it won’t be our last. The hotel surpassed our expectations in every single category! It’s clean, quiet, people are so nice at the front desk, the location is phenomenal with wonderful view of the ocean, their free continental breakfast is wonderful, and their parking is free!!! A bonus is that there’s Sam’s Chowder house next door you can walk to and their food is amazing! You’re getting this review from a person who usually stay at Ritz Carlton and eating at Michelin Star restaurants, so I know a thing or two about hotels and restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. It’s charming and is a hidden gem. I will come back every year since my mom is buried at Skylawn Memorial Park which is up in the hills near Hwy 92. Very convenient and so happy I found this place!

Little gem on the water
This is a great, small beach hotel. The bay is the focus, as it should be. Our room was on the 1st floor and faced the bay. It had a sliding door and nice concrete patio with 2 chairs and a small table. The west-facing wall was all glass windows/door, so the bay was the focal point. Inside the room was a fireplace plus tiny but full kitchenette (including stovetop, sink, microwave, fridge/freezer). GREAT water pressure in the shower and very comfortable bed/pillows. There was an average-sized TV at the foot of the bed and small TV in the sitting area. There was a sofa, 2 chairs, a desk and several lamps. The designer did an impressive job of packing in a lot of functionality and amenities into a small space. The nice stereo system that played CDs was a sweet surprise. (It also had Bluetooth, but we weren’t able to pair our devices for some reason). The room was relaxing. The continental breakfast was average…coldish pastries, bagels, yogurt and coffee/tea. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Except for the cold weather, would have liked to stay longer!
