You get what you pay for
Check in was quick, service was a little rude. Room was bare bones but didn’t expect much. It was clean but the bed and pillows were a nightmare. Mattress was squeaky and unsupportive. Pillows were like a bag of socks. Property was quiet.

Bed was comfortable and staff friendly
The bed was comfortable and the cable tv was good for watching the Celtics. The refrigerator wasn’t very clean nor the microwave. The outlets were so loose and warn out our phone chargers would just fall out. The tub was slow to drain and the windows could really use a wash. Couldn’t see out. Would also be nice to have a light curtain as well as a blackout curtain to let light in and allow some privacy. The room was very musty and we needed to leave the door open for awhile to air it out. The windows do not open. It was okay for one night.

Disappointed
The gentleman at the front desk was very polite/professional. My room was on the 3rd floor at the end. There were people on the narrow balcony as I made my way to the room. A strong odor of marijuana and an unknown substance emanated from one of the rooms. I attempted to lock the deadbolt; instructions on the door plate stated to turn the latch to the left, but when I did, it didn’t seem to catch. I tried turning the latch to the right and got the same results. I opened the door to see which way the latch worked the deadbolt, except nothing happened. I called the front desk and as I spoke, we got disconnected because the coiled cord fell out of the receiver. I hung the up receiver; the front desk called back. After several attempts, I managed to get the coiled cord back into the receiver. I told the front desk what happened to the phone and the door. He said to hold the handle of the room door down, then turn the latch. I repeated his instructions and he confirmed it. We hung up and I tried what he told me to do unsuccessfully. Turning the latch back and forth, I found the deadbolt would inch out and it could be pushed right back in. I called the front desk again; the gentleman came upstairs to help. He closed the door and turned the latch, never holding down the handle. I explained my concern and showed him. I didn’t feel safe in the hotel room.
