Hotels.com rate was a great value
Nice rooms. The bathroom was nicer than I would have expected. Made for a good stay for a couple; better than most business focused hotels. Access to Montreal underground city was a plus in winter.

We love this place
This is my second time to an InterContinental. The first one was in Berlin and I loved it some much I thought we'd try Montreal. We arrived early and I went to the front desk just to see if it would be okay to valet our car and wait till check in, however, Alex who was working the front desk checked to see if he could check us in early. Turns out they could and he upgraded us to a higher floor which was awesome. Turns out you can valet your car or park it yourself for slightly cheaper in the underground parking lot at $25/day which is not that bad. The room was very comfortable. I got a great night sleep in the cozy bed. We had dinner here because all the local restaurants in walking distance were closed during New Years week which was annoying. The food was so good and worth the price. Service was great. Wine list is wonderful. I loved it all. I'd say again!

Montreal Intercontinental
The worst thing about this hotel is the WiFi, very spotty and hard to connect to. I called for room service and no one answered, called the front desk same thing. All of the employees were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Hard to tell when they would have coffee in the lobby and when they wouldn't, since it was Very Cold that was an issue. TV was on and off had to have maintenance come and fix it.
