About Hotel Balzac, Paris

Luxury hotel, 1 block from the Champs-Elysées

Just off Champs-Elysées
Luxurious Hotel Balzac places you in the upscale 8th arrondissement. George V Metro Station is around the block – turn left onto the Champs-Elysées. Turn right and you'll be able to see the Arc de Triomphe at the far end, a 5-minute walk.

Quality at every turn
You'll be in a refined neighborhood, with one of the world's most famous shopping streets around the corner – designer stores lining the Champs-Elysées include Cartier, Dior, and Louis Vuitton. Hail a cab and you can get to the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre in 10 minutes.

Home of Balzac

Great hotel
The hotel was very nice. Location is one block away from the 5th avenue of Paris. Loved the stay. One off thing was maybe our room water did not really flushed. It was little off. But everything else was great

The Gentile Balzac Hotel
The Balzac is a great property. It does show some wear around the edges, but a true trip back in time to a more gentile & elegant era. My room was nice, but the elaborate use of "HB" (Hotel Balzac) logo on lamps, etc. was a bit much. The bathroom was gorgeous - large soaking tub with hand spray, separate shower with the most relaxing rainfall shower head, and a toilet area with a portable spray and a phone. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet in a very relaxing restaurant / bar area. The staff is very attentive. While the price is a bit steep, it is in a great location, just steps from the Champs Elysees. As a solo traveler, attending an evening meeting at a Champs Elysees location, it was ideal.
