We we pleasantly surprised at this spot in Morganton! We were in town for my daughter's wedding. The owner was so nice and hospitable! The hotel was being updated but our room was spotless and the bed was awesome! Would recommend to any traveler!

We had a reservation, but they had us on an upper floor room and we asked to be moved to a 1st floor room if available, the young lady working the desk had absolutely no problem checking and moving us. Staff was friefly the rooms clean. I had to move into hotel beause I lost power prior to the Jan 24-25 snow and ice storm an I was relieved to have heat and lights. What I did not like is that a large contruction truck was backed up against my window and I had no view. The hotel barely had 40% occupancy and the manager would not allow me to switch a room to one with one thay was not blocked from its view.......other than that it was nice.
