Art Deco classic with great bar and fun tourists
This an art deco gem, was a dump for many years, has gone through a lot of renovations, room was comically small. Great bar, great bartender, attracts international tourists which is always fun, and stewardesses from obscure international airlines which I always find charming

Fine establishment
I booked last minute to attend an event at the Javits Center. Very convenient to both Javits and Penn Station (right next door to latter). I went into the small bar in the evening and had fun watching baseball and catching up with colleagues. The workout room was great. Used a treadmill and weights. I don't know how they get such great water pressure on the 32nd floor, but I'd love to have it in my second level bathroom.

DO NOT ORDER THOS HOTEL - you will be over chrged
After paying in advance via .... I was charged additional $29 per day !!! - for "Facility fees" this is stealing money from the customer !!! I could not refuse this payment as they deducted it from the credit card on file - without my approvel ! I suggest you to take this hotel off your list !!! Me as acustomet felt Im goin under a day light robbery - with no ability to disagree and you ( are part of this robbery , as long as you keep the on your website I demand full refund of 29$ * 4 nights = $116 + tax

Let down by the shower
The new Yorker is generally OK - but the plumbing let this stay down - shower ran hot and cold - just couldn't get it to stay at the right temp
