Great Stay
Great stay with very friendly staff. If someone tries to give you a 'free' gift for your stay, just say no and walk away. I have stayed here twice and both times i was accosted by someone trying to sell a time-share.

Location is the best part
You can’t beat the location, but I’ve experiences better service for a lower price at other hotels in a Manhattan. Not really sure it’s worth paying what I did for the location.

The rooms are small, walls are very thin, and you almost have to sit sideways on the toilet. The smoke alarm goes off of you take a really hot shower or vape. Keep in mind that this was my first visit to NYC and I come from West of the Mississippi. The staff is kind. Half of the rooms do not have a coffee pot of any kind. There is no breakfast included with the room. The restaurant in the lobby was okay, not great, but it is food. There was construction right across the street at midnight. They were using Jack games at midnight. I did get upgraded to an updated room after my first night. It had a Kureg machine and a slightly larger TV. The bath/shower combo with 4 water knobs was updated to just a shower with one knob. The thin walls of the old room were just as thin in the new room. You could have a talking conversation with your neighbors through the walls and you could hear them trying to save their marriage. There were ladies downstairs trying to get me to come to a timeshare talk put on by Wyndham. They were bragging about the size of the rooms in the new place. I did not go. I would not stay in this hotel again if I had the option.

Family trip to NY
All the service provided in the hotel, from the Tick Tock diner, concierge, cleaning staff, maintenance, was WONDERFUL. We stayed in the hotel for 9 nights and it felt like home. It is an older hotel and might need a bit of an upgrade in the rooms (i.e. carpets, fixtures, etc) in the next 5-10 years, but otherwise was great. We stayed in a suite, and were pleasantly surprised with the size. Everything is expected to be smaller in NY, bc space is a premium vs. where we are from, but it was just fine. Location of the hotel is awesome and we easily were able to use the subway, take taxis or walk anywhere we wanted to go!
