Very nicew hotel
We had a very nice stay, very friendly staff. The location was excellent but because of the hotel is in the Temple Bar area it is a bit noisy. The room was very comfortable but in general it does need some update, i.e. the carpets.

Great for 747 bus stop, good value
We've been to Dublin multiple times and chose the hotel because of it's convenient location and price. It's just outside Temple Bar and next to the 747 bus stop which was important since this was our last couple of nights in Ireland and we wanted easy transportation to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel is a bit older and it shows in the rooms, but isn't different from any of the other non-chain hotels that we've stayed in over the years. There's a bit of street noise because it's on the edge of Temple Bar, but nothing out of the ordinary. The staff was friendly and food downstairs pretty good the night we grabbed a plate.

Convenient location, but old and run down.
We chose the hotel because of the location. We had returned to Dublin for just 24 hours before flying home and wanted to be in the heart of it. The location doesn't disappoint. The staff is friendlying and everything seems clean. But the hotel is OLD and nothing seems.to have been updated. The carpet is coming away from the walls and has pulled up in several locations. It is worn extremely thin, and looks such that I refused to walk on it with bare feet. Thw room for two is TINY. The smallest hotel room i have ever stayed in. Luckily our luggage was carryon size, otherwise i dont know what we would gave done. The room is basically, 2 foot beyond the bed on each of the sides (except the head) and the washroom with a 3 foot entrance hall. The shower is great, nice pressure and nice hot water... however there is absolutely no ventilation at all in the WC or in the entire room. My husband and I both had warm showers and the entire room was steamy and hot. I ended up having to go in the hall in cool of and put some makeup on. 2.5 hours later, we returned and the room was still warm and damp. Also, the walls are extremely thin and it is a loud area. We knew this going in, and so expected to be woken up a few times. Not a big deal for us, but I imagine it could be for others.

The location of the hotel was great to be able to walk to many tourist attractions and resurants. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly unfortunately you could tell the rooms had not been updated in quite a while. The tile in our bathroom was cracked in multiple places and the plastic that covered the side of the tub was also broken. One window was broken and would not open as well.
