Hidden fees!!

The hotel is nice, but I couldn’t remotely give it a 10/10. The hotel is old, so it smells kinda “old” if you know what I’m saying. They also have zero signage out front, so you’ll likely drive right by and have to flip around just to park and check in. The gripe I have with the hotel is the hidden fees. On its face the hotel is one of the cheaper ones compared to the others in the city. However, you’ll be charged $85 of hidden fees. This is the parking and the “destination” fee and both charges have a tax for some reason. Parking was $50 and a $12.38 tax came along with it. A 25% tax on top of paying $50 for parking is absolutely ridiculous. Now, I only stayed one night, so I can’t say if it’s per night, but if it is that couldn’t be a bigger rip off. Then I was also charged $22 for a destination fee. Which I was told was for amenities? I guess the two bottles of “free” Dasani was worth the $22? I’m not sure if the hotel even has amenities, but $22 was stolen from me. Overall, its a nice spot, but I wish they were upfront with pricing.
