Needs a facelift
The beds were comfortable but the room, bathroom and especially the hallways were rundown. There was a leak in the building and there were fans drying out the hallways the entire weekend we were there. The Wifi was weak. on a positive note, the restaurant El Hefe had great fish tacos and margaritas.

Will not stay here again
This is not a place I would ever recommend to anyone, I will not stay here again. The hotel says it is a non smoking hote yet they have ashtrays in the room. The place smells, the carpet is old and dirty. The chair in our room was broken and you could not sit on it. It is very noisy even with the door closed you can hear the music from the pool area. Fire alarms went off BOTH nights we were there. BOTH nights! They went off for about 10 min the first night and over 20 min the next night . At no point did I see any staff from the hotel come to help people that were put out of their rooms and to explain to anyone what was going on. There were numerous other minor things that happens at this place but these were the big issues. The staff is friendly enough but clearly a strong management is lacking . I will be asking for a refund for a portion of our stay .

awesome
i love this hotel! it has really vibrant decor. The pool bar serves great drinks and has great service. There are a lot of lounge chairs and day beds. The pool is also open till midnight which is nice on a warm night. El Jefe is a great restaurant right in the lobby! You can also rent bikes for free for 2 hours which is a perfect way to see palm springs

Not an ideal stay....
I booked a Mountain View room and was given a pool view room. Two very different experiences. The bathroom shower barely worked as the pull lever on the tub spigot’s seal had deteriorated. The water came out of the shower head and tub spigot affecting the water pressure. The shower curtain was a flimsy plastic liner and was missing some hooks. The tub shower itself bowed when you stepped in. Very cheap construction. It also appears they painted over wall paper in the restroom. Needless to say I won’t be staying here again. Perhaps if you come to party rather than relax this might be the ideal place for you. People on my floor had barking dogs as well.
