Warning: Do not stay in the Hacienda Suite! The room and furnishings were old and dirty.

Always a peaceful, restful stay. Best views
Love this property, but it’s getting a bit dated and worn looking in some of the villas. Still the same ambience and wonderful views.

Embarrassed to have booked this room for family
This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've ever booked. I had been at a meeting at this hotel, which was great (the main areas of the hotel are very nicely presented). In fact, so nice that when I had family come to visit, I booked them a suite and went there to spend the afternoon catching up. The suite was a sort of casita, which did have the advantage of being large and quite private, with its own courtyard and good AC. However, when we arrived there were dirty towels hanging on the gate from the room next door, which was being cleaned. The lighting was poor and the balcony has an uneven brick step that proved hazardous in the dark. The interior hasn't been redone in decades, and I mean that literally, probably the early 90s based on the color schemes, decor and furnishings. The carpet and kitchen were not so much dirty as grungy, with dirt ground in. This was also true of the living room furniture - it was visibly filthy enough to think twice about sitting on it. In all the rooms, repairs had been completed to a questionable standard and sloppily painted over. As a sort of final straw, I was told that shower curtain and rod continually fell down. It cost only a little less than other much nicer resorts in the Tucson area, booking here was a mistake. They also charge add'l fees (resort fee is announced at booking) - $5/car for parking, but there are no parking tags and they didn't take my car's information: scam, not security.

The room was very old - sofa had stuffing coming out, floor had stains, shower floor had black stains. The bed was hard as a rock and I had back pain the next day. Ants all over my chair and table at the pool.

Not good at all
Hotel is not a 4 star hotel Just because it has a golf course it does not mean Its a high end hotel. Lack of attention to details and poor understanding of what it is a real 4 star hotel services is makes this hotel feels like a a 2 star road side motel.
