Good overall.
The bed felt uneven. The eggs Benedict with salmon were too greasy, lobster sandwich isn’t all that; mixed with bacon and really greasy and soggy bread. The service is great in general and the hotel is very nice. Central.

Wonderful- excellent, attentive staff! I called the day before our stay to request a room on the same floor as our son and toddler twin grandbabies. Upon our arrival, Souard of Royal Service sent warm cookies and milk for the kiddos- with a hand-written note! We return for our next visit to Washington. The location is excellent, a nice walk to Georgetown and the White House.

Beautiful hotel, management not so much.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and in a great neighborhood of DC! My only complaint would be the employees up front. They were extremely unorganized and communication seemed to be their biggest issue. My boyfriend and I both reserved a room for a night with our own cards and we made this clear as soon as we checked in (as well as prior to checking in) and after 15 minutes of waiting for us to get situated, we were under the impression that we were all squared away. The next day, we didn't have our room cleaned and our key cards stopped working. We went down to see what may have gone wrong and their front desk told us no one properly adjusted the room reservation as promised. This was a little frustrating because we had to wait another 20 minutes the second day- which made us late for our brunch plans, and the manager who came to help was extremely unfriendly and short with us when we simply asked what went wrong with the reservation. I was shocked considering how much we paid for the hotel and it being at a 4.5 star rating. Saturday evening when we got back to the hotel, our keys-again, weren't working and the room was never cleaned. This must be due to miscommunication, again- very upsetting considering how beautiful the hotel is. I must say, I was not very pleased with the front desk and manager on duty Saturday, December 8th.
