Extended Stay America - Cincinnati - Florence - Meijer Drive, Florence

I reserved deluxe room with queen bed and sofa. Instead I was issued standard room with one full size bed. I was traveling with my daughter so we had to sleep in one bed. Floors were dirty. Kitchen surfaces were sticky and dirty! They advertising gym but the fitness room was closed due to renovations. Breakfast items are muffins and granola bars. The coffee maker was broken so you had to brew your own coffee in your room (don't forget to ASK for coffee maker at the front desk since your kitchen is absolutely empty).

HUGE room. Needs updating.

Convenient

Disappointed. Before I stayed there, they called and confirmed. Didn't mention that major remodeling was going on the floor above me so my jetlagged kids couldn't sleep in. Workers all hate their job (or so I hear while standing at the front desk waiting for service). Workers smoke right next to all of the entrances (even though there's a sign right there warning to be 100 ft from any entrances) and they're never at the front desk (because they need to smoke constantly!). Zero services provided by housekeeping, except begrudgingly, even something simple like exchanging towels. No ice machine. No late checkout (for no reason), oh and they disable your keycard immediately at that time so it's a bigger pain to carry your stuff out of the external doors that open with... they keycard. The room was not clean (stuff under the beds and couches, including a syringe cap!) and the bed skirt was torn. Generally treated us as if we were a burden, and the stay was way overpriced for what we received.

Our room linen was already used by some one els.Fortunately I requested additional linen and towels. From the beginning we had a bad experience because we booked double queen beds and roller a way couch. But we had given a room with one queen bed & convertable couch for 5 people. Shame my self because I have two friends visiting from canada.
