This is one of the WORST hotels in New York !
This is one of the worst hotels in New York. It has a great location but yet terrible street noise to sleep. Their location is their only calling card. It is the ONLY hotel in New York where you pay $300.00 per night that STILL charges for Internet use.!!. So don't plan on doing any work in your room !!! They give an excuse that Internet is free in the lobby but who in their right mind is going to do business work in the lobby... CMon.. There is NO heat control in the rooms. The heat was on when it was 60 degrees outside. Because I had a larger room I also had an AC unit. I had to run the AC to combat the heat.. !!!.. Oh My... Avoid this place if at all possible. There are too many nicer hotels in New York at even a more reasonable price $$$$

Convenient Location, Small Room
Room service was not good. Paper cups were used which were not even replaced regularly. I was down to one cup on the last day of my stay. I was there for 5 nights. Coffee and tea pods not replaced and I had to call housekeeping for cream and sugar. No premium television stations. Room very hot. Unable to regulate the heater even with the plug pulled it radiated heat! No top sheet until the last night. Room so small that I had to navigate carefully to avoid banging into furniture. No safety bar in the shower. The mattress was so hard I had to use the comforter as a pad to lie on. The location was excellent. Doormen and Front Desk personnel were accommodating.

Super comfortable and quiet
The most comfortable bedding I have ever experienced in a hotel! And the solid, good-old pre-war construction ensured that it was super quiet in the room. Service from the front desk was a little slower than I expected at a hotel of this caliber (getting extra cream and sugar for coffee, for example), but overall the ambience and quality was excellent. If you're in town for Lincoln Center, it can't be beat, and Broadway is quite convenient as well.
