Rude Staff
We tried checking in at 4:30pm and they said our room wasn't ready yet, it would be 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I went to see what was taking so long and the staff was very rude and said the room was in 'cleaning' status. We finally received our room keys 15 minutes later with no apology or explanation. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds on high floor. They gave us a room on 1st floor with a king bed. I did not spent over $200 on a room to sleep on a pull out sofa bed! I will not return to this hotel!!

Age Accommodating
It is hard to find hotels in the city that allow 20 year olds to book a room--I chose the Hyatt Place because of their age accommodation and was very pleased with the service, modern and clean hotel rooms, and very nice complimentary breakfast. I also liked that their cafe was open very late at night for midnight snacks, etc. My only complaint was with their pretty shady and dirty underground parking garage, which I am not even sure is their responsibility since it is open to the public. Overall my friends and I enjoyed our stay!

More than expected
This was a fantastic hotel in a convenient location - very large and comfortable rooms - pleasantly surprised that there was a completely separate sitting area with sectional sofa and desk. Room looks recently updated so was modern, well-appointed and clean. The included breakfast left a little to be desired, but overall, the place was still great. Excellent service at the front desk and bar too.

Just Ok
Our stay was good. Hotel was mostly clean- there was either puke or an drink on the blinds to the room. We were supposed to get a high floor with city view but were put in a room on the 3rd floor with view of constructions sites. None of the rooms have microwaves. Our room slept 6 and the only mirror was in the bathroom. This made is difficult for 3 of us to get ready for the day, let alone 6 people. The bathroom doors slide closed which leaves a 2" gap between it and the wall so there really isn't any privacy. Our bathroom door lock was broken as well. The breakfast was just ok- not really any healthy, vegetarian, or non-dairy options. Overall our stay was good. Just a few issues here and there.

Breakfast let-down
Everything was wonderful except the breakfast in the morning. We got down there at 9:30 and there was nothing left. It didn't seem like anyone was working to replace food or cups. So go early I guess.
