Cozy
Cozy inn and cozy room, but air conditioning didn’t work very well. Set to 68 for sleeping but room temp was 76.

Not part of the wedding!
The stay was great except beware if your room faces the interior party room. On Saturday night a live band played at a wedding reception. The noise level was such that we couldn’t hear each other speaking. The noise ended promptly at 10 pm. It would have been better to be informed!

Do NOT Stay in Room 2146 of Robert Johnson House
The hotel is in a great location but my husband and I realized the first night (we stayed two nights) that Room 2146 in the Robert Johnson House was NOT like the rest of the rooms. We had a window air conditioner and NOT central air like the rest of the rooms in this section of Historic Inns of Annapolis. It was very hot and humid for this time of the year and you needed AC to be comfortable. If you wanted cool air to flow into the room and the bathroom you had to leave the blackout curtains pulled back. Since we were on the first floor we saw all of the light from the outside as well as the cars moving on the street. We did not asked to be moved after the first night because we were only staying one more night and the Boat Show was in town. Also, because the room was small, the TV was placed to the left of the king size bed. In order to watch TV you had to constantly turn your head to the left or turn on your left side - very uncomfortable. When I checked out I told the front desk about my issues and they were kind enough to give me a credit that at least covered my 2 night parking fee. The Robert Johnson House is beautifully decorated! It is a short walk from all the important places of interest in Annapolis and right across the street from the State House. The staff is very friendly. It is close to great restaurants and shops. I would stay here again just as long as I did not get room 2146.
