Beautiful facility eclipsed by poor service
At first we were quite pleased with the service we received at the hotel as well as it’s facilities. Specifically, Connie at the front desk was excellent! However, our good experience turned bad the morning we were to check out. My husband left around 7:50am to go to a work meeting while I stayed back to shower and pack up our things. Right after he left at I received a knock on the door at 8am from housekeeping seeing if I had left yet. I advised the lady I was still there and I placed the Do Not Disturb sign on my door. I would receive another FOUR knocks on my door over the next 2.5 hours seeing if I had vacated yet. The final time, I loudly answered that I was still in the room and felt the need to remind the staff that check out wasn’t until 11am. This time a man answered and said okay. Five minutes later, as I was struggling to haul two large suit cases, two backpacks, a tote bag and my purse, I opened my door only to find this man standing there! I asked if I could help him and he quietly mumbled that he was just checking for housekeeping and he scurried off quickly down the hallway. I felt very upset by this. Why was this man standing outside my door? Why had I been disturbed 5 times to exit my room since 8am when checkout wasnt until 11am? I went to the front desk to check out and told the girl what had happened. I felt she blew me off and went about her business. After hearing about this my husband left a message for the manager. We haven’t heard back.

Poor 2.0
Terrible stay
Terrible stay. I booked this hotel with hotels.com stating that one of the amenities is a pool and hot tub- both things not in service during my stay. Hotels.com this is false advertising, and that is not okay. In addition, when we checked into our room I noticed hair in the shower.. So it wasn’t cleaned between guests? I called the front desk so I would be able to shower the following day and they said the cleaning lady would clean it when she came to clean the room again. The following afternoon I still see those same hairs. In addition, our safe wasn’t working and the gentleman that came to fix it was unsuccessful. I also got no sleep during the second night of our stay because the thermostat in the room wasn’t operating correctly. When they came to fix it, I wanted to take a nap because it was finally a comfortable temperature. The cleaning lady knocks on the door and I told her we weren’t ready for room service. I asked her when the latest is she could come back and she didn’t answer my question. I asked again and she repeated that she wants to clean now.. This is inexcusable. I called to complain and they offered to change my room. Well changing my room isn’t going to change how awful my first two nights were. They also offered free parking- again, very nice, but not good enough when I lost a night’s sleep, had to worry about my valuables because the safe wasn’t working, had to worry about cleanliness/hygiene with showering, and rude staff.

A OK- Hotel to stay at..
Ive spent time at this hotel before and was pleased with the staff and room, however, my most recent experience here was horrible. The hotel staff was unpleasant and did not do their job to satisfy customer needs. My reservations were for 4 days at the hotel and for 2 days out of the 4 we did not have any running hot water.. the hotel staff did not even think to inform their guests that there was a "pipe problem:" and when I called to ask whats going on they told me I would receive water after 6:30 pm which did not happen. I then proceeded to file a complaint in which I was promised 20% off of two days out of my stay by the Hotel.. when checking out, I was told Dan the manager would give us a call regarding discount.. never received a call from Dan that day, I had to call back the next day in which I was told that "Dan stepped out of the office and would give me a call back asap".. when 12 hours went by, I called AGAIN for the THIRD TIME and spoke to Dan who told me he would "do it right now" and that was that. Extremely disappointed in the hotel, the staff, and the quality of customer service, especially for the price of the hotel room.

The restaurant was very good, including the service and the food. The reception staff was helpful addressing any problems we had. The suite we had paid for did not have a sofa bed, even though the description when we booked it was a 450 sq ft suite with 2 double beds and a living area with a sofa bed. This suite was listed as accommodating 5 people with only 2 double beds. We were given a smaller suite (350 sq ft) with only 1 TV (a much smaller and older one than in the original suite we had booked). It did have a sofa bed, but no blankets for it. So I went down to the reception desk once again to get one. The beds were very comfortable. But the sofa bed was not. When we arrived on Thursday, we had dinner at the restaurant and my son left his sweat jacket there. When we went back to get it they were closed and we checked at the reception desk, but no one had turned it in yet. When we checked out, we asked again if they had found it, but it had not been turned in. They did say they would contact us if they found it. We felt that we had paid too much for a much smaller room, because of their mistake. We were definitely misled by their false advertising and error in furnishing this suite. Finally, we had to pay for parking.

!Hotel.com rewards members beware!
I made my reservation for my stay through hotels.com for the great rate and free night rewards. I chose to pay upon arrival to the hotel, as I often do for my business trips. The front desk staff cancelled my hotel.com reservation and checked me in as a walk in guest. I did not notice this initially until I went to use my free night for another trip and saw that I didn't have one. I called hotels.com to figure out the descepency and they called to investigate with the hotel while placing me on hold. The hotel told them that my credit card was declined and that I chose to cancel my reservation. Seems the staff, whether prompted or not, has figured out how to not pay hotels.com their fee. I did, in fact, stay 3 nights at the hotel and there was no mention of my credit card being declined at the time of check in. I also, somehow received a free breakfast voucher and am now getting emails from the crown plaza rewards program. I do commend hotels.com for investigating the matter but understand their hands are tied and it was the hotel who is to blame for being dishonest. If my stay here was better I would have considered not leaving this poor review. However, the rooms and lobby are extremely in need of an update. My colleague reserved a suite room for the kitchenette as we like to stay in and prepare meals occasionally. There were no utensils or dishes and old food in the refrigerator. I encountered a person urinating in the hall one evening. I did not feel safe in this hotel.
