No pool access
We came to town for the playoffs. Location was wonderful. I didn’t like that the pool was closed, the main bathrooms were closed for a film. It just seemed like one thing after another was unavailable. The staff were friendly.

History with a few leaks
. Located in the middle of a revitalized DTLA neighborhood. Opened in 1923, this hotel is full of nothing if not history, The lobby level is like a museum with period photos of early academy award ceremonies and the like. Staying there made me think of taking a ride on the Titanic. Unfortunately, like the Titanic, the place has a few leaks. Bthroom sink that would run loudly and fill up because of a clogged drain, requiring a 2:00 a,m, wake-up to fix. No icebergs of course, but also no hot water for the shower. Another problem is a lack of clear hallway signage pointing to room locations. Also a lot of stairs to deal with in getting to event/meeting areas. Staff was mostly helpful when called upon.

Beyond the architecture, a lackluster experience
The Millenium Biltmore is definitely an architectural gem. Unfortunately, from the minute you walk into the dark and musty lobby, the impression is not positive. The reception desk associates did not smile and in fact, seemed unhappy. Service was not bad, but not friendly and very impersonal. The room was large with a work area and mini sofa. Carpet word and dated. The hAlls make you feel like you are in a scene from the Shining. Bathroom is dates and soaps/washes subpar. I wouldnt recommend it there are better hotels in the same price range.

Nice service bad view
This was a nice hotel, close to many downtown attractions, the amenities were good, I guess it specializes in asian tourism. The only thing Indid not like was that even when I paid for a luxurious room, the view was to the central patio, awful, other than that I would recommend it plenty
