Good hotel in the heart of Nice
Good hotel in the heart of Nice within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping and beach. Also the local trolley is 1 block away for those who prefer it-1.5 euro/trip... Pretty good deal! Pool area is small but nice and has a full service bar. Nice view of the town from the pool too as it is on the top level. 15 min walk to the beach. They also offer a breakfast buffet which looked good but did not do. This hotel has pretty much everything that we wanted but my son and I like to walk most everywhere and prefer to be in town.

Too expensive for what it is.
Stayed for 4 nights and for 200 Euro per night I expect a lot better. The initial welcome was less than friendly and within a few minutes of getting in to our room the trim fell off the wardrobe base. Furnishings look a little dated and paint was peeling off the bathroom door. There was a slight whiff of bad drains in our room and we were also situated next to a noisy lift shaft which was extremely annoying. On returning to our room one evening I found a few ants crawling across the top of the bedside table - this was on the second floor! The hotel is in 2 sections, to use the pool, skybar etc, we had to go down to the ground floor, cross reception and up to the 7th floor in another lift. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it's ridiculously expensive and by going to the cafe in the nearby shopping mall, 2 of us ate for less than the price of 1 in the hotel. At checkout we weren't even asked if we enjoyed our stay and I couldn't help overhearing 2 English speaking women complaining that some items had gone missing from their room - security isn't great here either. The hotel enjoys a good location being just off the main shopping avenue and a 10 minute walk from the train station. We were walked to all the main tourist attractions but some may find this a bit of stretch when going to the southern end of town - there is a tram stop nearby though. If we ever visit Nice again, we will most likely be looking for something different.

    Lovely holiday
Very good value for the area. We had a junior suite with a terrace. The room was spacious with large bathroom. I would recommend this, being able to sit out on the terrace was a real plus. The roof top pool was also very good. Maybe just short of a proper 4 star but the size of the room, pool, location and service made up for that.

Peaceful, clean and a good location.
The hotel is great - pool is lovely and all amenities are clean and easy to access. The room was big and very clean - beds a little hard for me but for others I’m sure would be fine. Location wise it is right on the main shopping road of Nice but at the top so it’s quiet. Short walk to the train station, supermarket, restaurants etc. About 20mins walk to the beach - not too bad but in the the heat of the day with a rubber ring it feels like twice that! Tram stop is close to the hotel and at €1.50 for a single trip it’s good value. The old town of Nice is two stops on the tram or a nice evening stroll. We would stay at the hotel again - it has everything you need yet is peaceful. Staff were friendly at the bar, not so much on the front desk but maybe we caught them on an off day!

Very professional, clean and welcoming hotel.
Staff excellent. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Garden area within a small courtyard was a nice relaxing spot away from the city. Good rooftop bar and pool area although food choices were limited. Some areas general areas in need of some redecoration
