valet persons were extremely helpful. Disappointed at the lack of knowledge of the front desk person checking us out as I wasn't sure if the room payment had already occurred when reserved online or if not we would spit the cost between persons staying. She first tried to say a mastercard had been denied but I don't even own a mastercard, then said she needed to make a call and while waiting I finally asked again if it showed us to owe anything and she said no. All was very confusing and she seemed to lack the knowledge needed to answer my questions. Still don't know where the mastercard came into play????

DON"T STAY HERE!!!!!
This was a bad hotel experience. The construction in downtown Knoxville makes the hotel close to inaccessible (you are forced to enter through a one-way back alley from an adjoining fast food restaurant. There is no sign and the roads are actually incorrectly marked/painted. Don't expect a warm welcome. We were more accused of being there by the (we're guessing 'high' valet parker) then welcomed as paying guests. The room was tough as well. The bathroom had a sliding door that would not even latch, much less close. All our bathroom business was done with an open door. The pillows were awful. We stayed 4 nights and the rooms were only serviced once. At one point (we had been out of the room for business from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm) the maid service knocked at 7:30 pm, which we refused. When we went to the office for extra towels and coffee supplies we were accused of trying to steal hotel items. Ummm no, we just assumed that if we are staying there for four nights we would be allowed more than two towels. The bartender is a complete dick. His behavior convinced us not to sit at the bar, but to enjoy our drinks in our rooms instead. The bottom line is that this hotel in no way met my expectations from having the name "HILTON attached." I will never stay at this hotel again and I recommend you don't either.

Great Holiday Trip at a Great Hotel
My husband was raised in Knoxville and he really enjoyed the location of the hotel because we were able to really see how the city has grown. We also ate at a very nice restaurant that sold crepes. Can't remember the name, but it was on Gay Street.

great hotel
was there to get my son moved in to the dorm at UT. This hotel is within walking distance to the dorm! Knoxville had recently gotten snow, and the hotel could have done a better job clearing snow and ice from the patio area. The front desk staff was the best! The room itself was spacious, complete with Fridge and Microwave. The only issue with the room was I couldn't seem to get the temperature to a good setting that wasn't too hot or too cold. The bed was so comfy. The valet guys were also top notch. I will definitely stay here again. The price was perfect, but I was here on a Sunday night... I know they double the room rates on game weekends!
