Meh - rude staff
Hotel is aging and clearly no one is on top of maintenance. Pretty typical faded glory. Rooms are clean. Front Desk staff is really difficult to deal with and especially rude (with the exception of Clem who is great). This is a 2.5 star hotel, nothing more.

My stay was horrible. My room was filthy when I checked in and a mouse ate a granola bar that was in my carry on. I checked out early and went to another hotel

I notify the staff of the dissatisfaction that we experienced and was told that the Manager was going to call me the same day. The agent at the desktop recorded my message and promised that I was going to share my concerns as a customer. It was a very unpleasant experience. We had to sleep with drain flies

Historical Day at the Historical Hotel of America.
When I booked My Reservation I've read quite a bit of Bad Reviews that makes me think twice but I said to My self this Hotel will never last for 100years for no reason at all. They must be doing something Great or Different for them to last this long. So I kept my reservation. And THANK GOD My Family Really have a Wonderful Stay. From the Valley Parking Attendant, to the Hotel Receptionist and the Housekeeping all of them is Nice,Friendly and will take care whatever need you have to the best of their ability. I took and put a lot of pictures i took inside and out of the HOTEL WHITCOMB to my Facebook account and say the history of this Historical Hotel. That's been part of the Historical Day of My Life. I stayed at Hotel WHITCOMB because of my Naturalization Interview and THANK GOD I PASSED IT. Keep Up the GOOD ATTITUDE to all the Employees. And GOD BLESS US ALL AND GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
