A beautiful introduction to Lisbon
It was my first nights in Portugal, and this hotel gave a feel of the traditional beauty of the city. The staff was very helpful carrying my suitcase. I wasn’t prepared for the beautiful staircase. It was worth it for the charm of the building. I like that the location seemed to have a mix of residential, business, and tourist interests. I would stay again, with lighter luggage.

old world charm- a bit pricy and somewhat isolated
Great location for the airport-20 minute direct subway ride. It is in the northern area of Lisbon- so not much of great interest around the area. The breakfast was great and staff were very friendly. I enjoyed the old world touches- but found it pricy, considering it was a shared bathroom and had no AC.

We got a private suite with a shared bathroom. The room and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and regularly maintained on a schedule. Breakfast included was very appreciated and started early. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Location was great as it is a direct connection to bus stations and the airport and a 1 transfer connection to other areas of Lisbon. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and we will stay here again no questions asked.

I loved my stay in this guest house and only wished I could spend longer there. The property is clean and beautiful and the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. I stayed in a single room on a corridor with two beautiful bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a living room and dining room. I could have lived there for a month. As I only had one afternoon and evening there I was delighted that there was a craft/food market directly opposite the hotel. I was able to buy artisan gifts without having to take a taxi anywhere. There are also plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in easy walking distance, as well as a supermarket a few doors away. I will definitely come back and spend a few nights here on my next visit to Portugal in the autumn.

I only stayed for part of one night as I had a very early flight. I loved the building and location and the staff. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately all the comings and going’s and paper thin walls kept me from sleeping before my 2 AM wake up to get to the airport.
