Clean and nice
I didn't have a credit card and my visa card wasn't suitable for record. That meant 200 bond for 4 of us. As I had only 100 left we had to survive the weekend which meant no birthday dinner or even hi tea. We could of done more. I had rung hotel the week before I came and was told visa was fine. We managed to have a good time. I recitation people booking include breakfast before they come so at least they eat

home away from home
I stayed at the hotel 16 days and it felt like home away from home. I had a premium room which was very nice and during my jet-lagged sleepless mornings, I could watch the sunrise from the room's window

Very Good stay need to modify the WiFi policy
The Wifi will allow to connect only 2 devices from a room. Paid or free it is the same. To connect the third device you have to disconnect and wait till the connected mac address to expire.

3 night trip
James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor, Wellington
Good3.0 / 5
Would not give this more than 3 stars. Good location but the room and building are outdated and my room was a bit grimy. Hotel staff was ok but not the most helpful. They are probably better at catering to business people rather than tourists. It was in a good location and walking distance to everything.
