Not to bad of an hotel
The room was okay but not like the pictures. It was smaller then what I’ve expected and a few things was updated but some things was not. A little disappointed with my stay but the staff was good and the breakfast was good. Not sure if I would stay there again. It was a lot of restaurants and local stores near by that made it a great stay.

Great updated surprise!
We visit Scottsdale often. Have stayed at this facility many times in the past 20 years. Service was always good but building somewhat dated and had a smoking wing. For the past three years have been staying at competitor's property. This trip we returned to LaQuinta and what a pleasant surprise - it has been totally redone! Lovely choice of paints and photos. Equipped for today's traveling needs electronically and otherwise. One note: we do not own a pet and do not appreciate finding waste in the parking lot or dogs barking in the hallway. Perhaps pets and their owners should be in a dedicated wing. Thoughtful for those of us sans pets and with allergies

Disappointing
The muffins at breakfast were dry, hot water in carafe was lukewarm. The toilet had a pressure tank. It did work correctly. I got it to flush once after removing the lid and pushing on a button on the pressure tank. I had to force the inside door handle down each time I entered and exited the room as the dead bolt would jam in the out position. The carpets in the hallways are still filthy. The handicap accessible bathroom is limited accessible. The toilet I believe was comfort height and the sink can be used by a person in a wheelchair. The tub/shower had grip bars and an hand held shower head in addition to the regular shower head, otherwise it’s no different than the tub/showers in a regular room. There is no way a person who cannot stand and lift their legs over the edge of a bathtub can bathe.
