Nice room layout, but little customer service
It felt like a lot of personal details were required to check-in through their web platform, like asking me to scan my ID, take a selfie, and write an “about me”. I was also asked for my credit card info twice even though I already paid for the room online. I thought the first time was for incidentals, but then it asked for my credit card again for incidentals with a $100 security deposit. I had a little difficulty finding our room because it was on the inner section of the complex, but luckily there was someone at the desk who directed us. The room setup was really neat including a little walk-in closet and kitchenette. The room we were in had signs of water damage in the kitchenette. Felt a bit damp from humidity in the room and the bathroom vent had a ton of dust. The bed was comfy but there were other guests hanging out on the balcony and by the pool until 3:30 in the morning who were constantly waking us up with the noise. They posted all over that quiet hours start at 9, but there’s no one there to enforce it. I got some email contact before arrival and while we were there, but they only responded to one of my questions and obviously didn’t do anything when I told them about the loud guests, so that’s frustrating. Glad we only booked one night here. I thought I was booking a standard hotel room experience so that whole thing and online check-in was off putting
