The Lodge at Santa Fe, Santa Fe
Think twice about staying here. Not clean
The lodge was not a well kept up. Housekeeping is not well trained. Room was dirty! Carpets disgusting. My in wall hair dryer flew out sparks when turned on. Lighting poor no overhead just lamps. We had all of our bulbs changed. Shower head had visible mold. Carpet never vacuumed for 5 days. Sheet had dried nasal secretions and I had to strip linen off to make sure it was cleaned. Mirrors by closet door never cleaned. The shuttle guys Elmer and Danny were terrific! The front desk clerk Jennifer was apologetic and very responsive.we felt bad for her as she had to handle the complaints. She never said a bad word, supported her hotel. We booked through a king bed and when we arrived it was not available! We were there for a wedding. Wanted to stay in the main hotel. We were offered an upgrade at the same rate but that was not what we wanted. Then it was so dirty. Be cautious when booking this hotel. The main hotel rooms I don’t know about. The suites are in a different building.

Hotel is very dated and carpets in rooms and halls need good cleaning. Beds were comfortable and AC worked fine. It's very convenient to town. We had our own car so can't speak for the shuttle service. Quiet, good acoustics. Pool lovely, jacuzzi pleasant but not much power in the jets. Front desk responsive to requests and generous with water bottles and towels. Cafe has good breakfast. Service sometimes slow. Even with an event going on,

Nice place bur beware extra charges
Enjoyed our stay there. We didn’t like that they have started to charge extra for any Checking before 4pm. Their daily service fee should really be included in the room rate.
