When I first came into the hotel and spoke with the front desk, they provided me a room key to a room that had two queen size beds when I requested a king size through The guy at the front desk tried to tell me that's what they show in the system when clearly I was showing him on my phone what it says on as my preference. Once I got in the room I instantly noticed that the bed had crums and hair on the top cover. When I started to unpack my stuff I notice when pulling the dresser drawer back sticky stuff which means I could not lay my clothes out. Than when I went into the bathroom there was multiple pieces of hair that was left on the shower wall. I spoke with the front desk and the manager which was a lady ensured me that they will get it taking care of and she will go back to make sure. Once I got back that night, my room door was left open and the shower still had the same hair pieces and my bed sheets was not changed after she told me it would be. I than spoke with the general manager Dave the next morning, and he acted nonchalant about the situation since I had already left a bad review on google. Dave tried to be sarcastic and state "Well if it makes you happy I will personally go up there and clean your shower". Also regarding my room door being left open, I had my work laptop and jewelry left in there, per Dave "I am aware of the room doors not closing behind" as if it was okay. Than he said I think I know how to shut doors I am the general mana

    Fire Alarms
While this hotel is showing some age, the staff was helpful in moving our room due to my allergy to mildew when requested. (They had put us right above the pool, which no hotel can really stop humidity from happening and being a problem specifically for me, so not their fault.) Our initial experience was good. The beds were really comfy, the refrigerator and microwave were great as well. Despite the hotel being full of what appeared to be families with kids staying close to the Children's Hospital up the road, it was quiet enough. The problem was at 2:10 in the morning when the fire alarms went off. They went off for about 20 minutes. There was no instruction on what to do, there was no smoke smell, just alarms. I couldnt even get the front desk to pick up the phone. My friend and I finally threw our stuff in our bags and began down the stairs. Then they stopped. Word was called up the stairwell that all was ok. We trudged back up and flopped back in our beds. Only to have it go off again at 7:00 again. It stopped within 2 minutes. And then went off again. Repeat a third time before 7:30. When we went down to breakfast, another guest told us that she had stayed there a few months prior and the same thing had happened then as well. With that in mind, we went upstairs, packed our stuff, found another hotel room on Orbitz and checked out. It was not the experience I needed at all since I was in Omaha after a traumatic injury incurred by a family member.

The rooms were clean, updated, and comfortable. The doors did not seem to be sealed very well. You could see light on the sides and noise came in. We had a lot of noisy neighbors around us and above. However when I called the front desk, the front staff guy was extremely pleasant, apologetic and said he would try to scope it out. The staff was always very helpful and kind! The pool was cold, the temperature of the water and the room were uncomfortable. We swam in the evening and one wall is glass windows. Maybe daytime would have been warmer with natural sunlight. The hot tub had been removed and we were not aware of that until we went to swim. That was disappointing only since we were cold. We didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast so I don’t have any opinions to share on that.

    Exceptional 10.0
Customer service and variety at it's best!
This was a 5- day family vacation in late July (Zoo, Aquarium, Children's Museum, school shopping etc.). Notwithstanding, from our initial arrival ... checking-in was seamless! Holiday's Front Desk Agent,"Chris" was very attentive and helpful. I requested an "end" unit; as a courtesy to other guests (kids) and Chris was quickly able to accommodate the request. The room was comfortable and clean, house keeping was friendly and the location was central to pretty much everything! Breakfast (0600-0930+) was fairly impressive with a bit of variety/choices (i.e. Autonomous pancake maker, omelettes, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, cold cereal dispensers, two kinds of milk, pastries, hot cinnamon rolls, coffee/tea, a variety of yogurt, h/b eggs, fresh fruit, juices(3) etc.). I suppose the best part of the breakfast was the culinary staff; especially "Maria", simply awesome!! We'll be back and hands down ... we'll stay here again!

    Awesome place
Guy behind the counter was super friendly. I didn't get a chance to test the wifi, since went to a movie, then to dinner, came back and just went to bed... Didn't eat breakfast downstairs, but the breakfast area looked cool. Didn't go in the pool, but next time I have to check it out, since I like pool and hot tub Best thing about room is the bed, so comfy and nice to get into... Pillows were soft and firm at same time, shower was cool too, but shower head needs replaced, you can tell its old... I had a good stay for the amount of time I was actually in room...
