Cold Pool
Great room for a family get together was very disappointed the pool area and pool was cold. Whirlpool was drained because of pump problems. Front Desk claimed they knew nothing about pool area or pool being cold. We still swam with Grandkids but was the main reason we booked the room. Can’t say we will try HIE next month when we come back. Everything else except a loose toilet seat was good.

Hotel lacks in customer service
Check in took forever, it was like they had my info, but didn't have my info, never got a clear explanation when I asked if something was wrong. Two trips after that to the front before they got my room keys right. First time back they had the next set ready... why not warn a person, "Hey we are having key issues, we apologize now if they don't work." Some kid with housekeeping acted like I didn't know the red light meant denied access/key doesn't work and then gets defensive and calls me rude when I tell him I'm not stupid. I currently have 2 pending charges on my card for $102.36 from the hotel, along with my charge from Hotels.com. When I talked with the front desk at check out (at which point I only had one authorization) she said she didn't know why they entered my card info since I booked and paid through Expedia (yep, no Hotels.com love), but it was probably just an authorization for incidentals and it would fall off my card. I looked today, 10-12-17, I have a second authorization.
