I would not recommend unfortunately.
There are some good things about the hotel but overall it really isn't good. The hotel is in the worst part of Athens. It's really not safe to walk around there. Sticking to the main street might be okay. When I got there the AC was not working (it did work the following day) but that first day was pretty miserable. The bathroom always smelled really bad. The hotel had drilling going on as early as 8 AM lasting intermittently throughout the day and I mean loud drilling in the next room over or above me. The hotel charged me for local phone calls and there is no notice by the phone or anything that there are extra charges even for local calls. The upstairs pool and restaurant have a great view and the food was good. The bed in my room was very comfortable, but that's all I can say good about the hotel. There are many better places in Athens to stay so I would not recommend this hotel.
