Not the best location
Everything was fine but the location made it difficult to cross the street to get dinner. Not something the hotel can control. After driving all day we just like to walk to dinner.

Short Stay
The lodge is great for its central location, no real noise from the highway or the rail tracks behind since the AC is noisy enough. Some rooms are renovated, I got an old one first, then moved to a newer room but both rooms are very smoky smelling though the hotel is converting to non-smoking, so if you are allergic to smoke smell, this might be trouble.

The location is good but the cleanliness is poor. We checked in for 3 nights but it was not a good experience. Towels are dirty and looks old, the room smells bad too for a non smoking. The room was not cleaned and re-stock for supply when we came back after going out. Thought housekeeping is mandatory for hotel to do for have been checking in several times when we travel and this is the first hotel that we are not proud to be checking in. Towels used still on the floor and the staff in the reception area is not that pleasant to answer inquiry over the phone knowing she is a Filipina she talks on customer to explain as if she was talking to a stupid person which is very upsetting for a customer service and she was even on the front desk ...holy!Wanted to report her to her manager but in a hurry that day to deal with her rudeness.Have checked in to other hotel and just tried this one for a change and this is the worse have been and with this experience not coming back on this hotel again. Guess they should hire more friendly and accommodating staff to render much better service to their customers to enjoy staying here and make sure they do cleaning and changing of towels regularly.

Noisy all night with th train every 5 minutes. Laundry was not shut off all night despite repeated requests. It was a terrible experience. Better pay a little bit more and stay at a good place.

Hard to sleep with late night trains roaring past, only a few yards behind the building. The Kleenex box was completely empty when I walked in. Other supplies were adequate.
