Staff friendly although we arrived early and whilst our room wasn't ready we were able to park in the secure parking. It would have been helpful if we were checked in at the earlier time and then all we would have needed to collect was our key. I didn’t notice on my booking confirmation that building work was being carried out. If I had, I would have cancelled my booking. Our bedroom which was new was lovely but there was just a lot of plaster dust about due to the ongoing works. And it would be impossible to have a sleep beyond 9am due to the building works. The breakfast was very nice but there only were fruit or green tea. No breakfast tea. The room had an nepresso machine with a few capsules but no milk or coffee cups. Would recommend this hotel post building works but bring a kettle, tea, cups and milk.

A Great Find!

This hotel provides excellent value for money. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the delicious breakfast and free coffee, tea and water throughout your stay is an added bonus. The room was comfortable and when we experienced a slight problem with the shower drain being blocked it was fixed within half an hour. A pleasant riverside walk takes you to the old town in 10 minutes. We highly recommend this hotel.
