It takes forever for elevator door to close. Narrow, walled driveway to back parking lot is treacherous to drive. Everything else very good.

You get what you paid for
We checked in at about 9pm and stayed till 9am the following day. We got a room on the 2nd floor. The elevator buttons do not have light indicators so it was a bit confusing at first for us. The room was okay for its cheap price. The carpets had a lot of stains. The bed was hard like some other comments may have mentioned, but we actuallly prefer hard beds and it's good for us. The blanket on the bed was very thin. The bathroom was clean. In the corridors and in the room we smelled a strange fruity scent. Later we found out that there was a raspberry-flavored air freshener on top of the shelves in our room. When we turn the a/c on, a smell of mold and unwashed socks come out of the fan. So that's probably why they put an air freshener in the room. Breakfast was included and had bagels, bread, waffles that tasted more like unflavored pancakes, muffins, croissants, fruit, milk, orange juice and coffee. No eggs or meat. Overall, this place is good and cheap if you only need a shower and a night's sleep. It is old and needs renovations. If you are looking for a lot of comfort or several nights' stay this is probably not the place for you.

Great value for money
Best option for me in downtown Stamford as a one-night, self-financing, solo traveller. Not the most modern nor best appointed hotel but had everything i needed. Desk staff very friendly, large, comfortable room was very clean & quiet. Decent breakfast. Great price, great value for money.
