The room was nice and clean, the property provides bbq equipment and firewoods. only downside is the double beds were full size instead of queen.

The overall rating on the hotel has been listed as "fabulous". This rating is FAR FROM ACCURATE. I would rate it as GOOD and no higher. First of all the room that we had was tired and worn out. The lamps were very old, the clock radio didn't even turn on so it was left unplugged. I don't even want to think about the bedspread and carpeting. No daily room service - no room service at all. However, on the plus side, this place is in a great location! It's right in the Black Hills and close to Mt Rushmore, the 1880 train, Deadwood, etc. If we were to visit this area again I would consider staying at this hotel again considering the price and what I know now.

Clean & quiet, but not ‘excellent’
Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet, but by no means ‘excellent’ as rated in hotels.com. The room was dark and gloomy. Bath towels were dark blue and I prefer white for hotel towels. Small bathroom. TV remote wasn’t user friendly. Needs some updating for an excellent review.
