What a disappointment
Pretty disappointing, given the price point. We were told that our building had "no room service," but we saw staff delivering wine and treats to other rooms on our floor. There was no mini bar or food in the room, which wouldn't have been a big deal except that they wouldn't even bring us a fork to eat the food we bought elsewhere on the resort. Our TV didn't work, so we couldn't take advantage of some in-room features. We had to ask about it a few times, but it was never fixed. Don't plan on getting your entertainment from the internet, however, the wifi is really slow. The sink drain was backed up pretty bad, the furniture was pretty worn, and the outdoor table was cracked. Also, the power went out for 30min. Also, all outdoor amenities close at 5pm, whether the sun's down or not. Some of the staff are great, but the majority behave like they wish you would get bent - it's all they can do to keep from rolling their eyes in your face. All told, I'd expect this from a $100/night place, but this was almost 3xs that cost.

The hotel is amazing! They have everything you need in one place... I wasn’t too impressed with the room. It could’ve been a little better...

Did Not Meet Expectations
Had an overall average time at Atlantis. Hotel is way too big and didn't seem to have much of a schedule of activities other than what the waterpark offers. Stayed at one of the Villas part of the Beach and it was really dingy and moldy. I had posted a review on previously and the hotel manager (Charmaine) reached out to me and upgraded me to a more modern and nicer room at the Coral. There were many things I was noticing throughout the hotel which made me question their top tier pricing. Some bathrooms in common areas were not as cleaned as I would expect - although not dirty - they didn't blow me away with freshness. There were outlets not secured (outside of certain elevator banks and even outside of Poseidon dining). These are relatively minor things but If I'm paying top tier pricing, I expect 5 star all the way. This was my first time staying in Atlantis and will probably be my list - it was more of a check mark for me. I was not blown away. Definitely would rather spend my money and go to Turks and Caicos and stay at a Sandals resort. They certainly tried, but just feel a bit short for me.
