The Adolphus, Autograph Collection, Dallas
Lovely as usual!!
A Traveler, us1 night trip
The Adolphus, Autograph Collection, Dallas
The downtown location was wonderful and the room itself was very comfortable! However, we booked an executive, 2 king suite and the first one we were given did not match the amenities on the hotel’s website. While I understand you may not get the exact room in a photo, if the room’s amenities list a sofa, armchair and desk, your room should contain that. The “suite” we were originally given was just one large room instead of a bedroom and separate living space. The front desk did give us another room, but the manager was not happy about moving us. When we did get into the room, the toilet seat was completely unscrewed from the toilet, which they quickly came and fixed, but for $300+ a night, I would expect this not to happen. They did make it right though. The only other issue was with the valet. One member of our party left their phone in the car we valeted. He called down to the valet to ask if he could come look for it, but they said they would go get it and bring it up to the room. 45 minutes later, no one had arrived so he called back. The valet said they had gone to get it and would be up in a few minutes. 45 minutes GO BY AGAIN with no phone, so he calls again. They asked for the valet ticket number because they didn’t know what car it was!!! After we were told it was on its way! He went down in person and they finally had it, 90 minutes later. Great hotel and great location, service just took repeated attempts to make things right.

Beautiful Hotel...
Beautiful Hotel... I had a concern (Cleaning schedule), which became the hotel managers concern. Enough for him to call me and discuss. I was very impressed... If you like charming hotels with a big beautiful room, this is the place...
