Adequate, but lacking
Our room was okay, though for the price, I expected better. Everything that we needed worked, but the chairs and table were pretty wobbly and felt very cheap. The mattress was rock hard and the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever laid on (and I like a firm bed). The room was generally tidy, but there was dog food on the floor in the closet and when I moved the reclining chair to look for my sons Legos, I found a bunch of crackers and other garbage on the floor from previous visitors. There was no extra toilet paper in the room and only a partial roll in the bathroom, so I needed to visit the front desk to get more. The room plus fees was about $360 for two nights, but I think a fair price would have been $240. I don't think we had a standard room, so it's possible other rooms have been kept up to date and are more comfortable and in better condition.

Check in was great, room was not the room pictured on here, an could of done without the people in the pool room partying n drinking they werent even using the pool they just used the pool room basically as a bar n was rather disrespectful throwing trash into the hottub as i was sitting there, needless to say i got out n left after that an when i noticed the cieling above it leaking

This is an older property; however, the beds, bathroom, and refrigerator were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the place was extremely quiet. It is conveniently located next to SMSU and there are various eateries withing walking distance. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating and they offer free toiletries should you forget something (all you have to do is ask the front desk). Some cons are that they could do a better job dusting, especially behind the night stand, etc. Also, the A/C fan ran all the time (even when off), so I unplugged it during the day while I was working or relaxing and opened the window (2nd floor). I used the pool and hot tub, which was always empty when I was there so that made it nice and relaxing.
