THE place to stay, convenient & comfortable!
This hotel could not be more conveniently located, whether you want to take in some shows and ballet (as we did), or sightsee. It is also good for business travelers, meetings, and events. The staff was uniformly welcoming and helpful. It was a real find, which I would not have discovered without hotels.com.

Lovely location, poorly thought out
Yes, the location is incredible. The rooms are clean. And yes, they are incredibly small. But one can manage a small room if it's well-planned. Rather than two immense chairs taking up all the available floor space, maybe have one. It would have been nice to have SOME kind of drawers or shelves or something in which to unpack clothes. There was nothing. Maybe take out that tilting, glass topped table and substitute a small chest of drawers. And maybe the room service trays should be a size where one can turn around in the narrow hallway while carrying it. {Does a room that tiny really need two telephones?) And yet there were some lovely, considered high-end touches, like a towel warmer in the bathroom. The layout and furnishings just didn't make any sense to me. A small room can be perfectly fine, if it's properly appointed.

Fantastic!
Absolutely amazing! The staff is always wonderful and our stay is nothing short of top -notch. My boyfriend and I have stayed there twice in the past 6 months. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else in London.
