Room tired looking and old fashioned. Lift service not great as you needed a member of staff to let you go up in the lift. Breakfast was very good but service was slow when busy and staff had to be reminded of our food/drink orders.

Amazing hotel - location, service
I loved this hotel! It took me awhile to decide on which hotel to stay at as it was my first time to London and my 5 day trip was a mix of personal and business, travelling alone. The staff were always so friendly and accessible. I was grateful I was able to check in at 9am after my long flight. The room is cozy, clean and had everything I needed - an iron, lots of hangers and lots of outlets. I dined there for dinner and it was delicious. Location was ideal -steps from Oxford street and the Tottenham tube station. So easy to walk to all the major sites from the hotel and the neighborhood felt safe from early morning to late evening. It was quiet too, no noise heard from my room. The shower was stocked with amenities and water pressure was strong and hot water was fast. The mattress was firm with lovely thick soft pillows.

Nice hotel but bizarre lift access
Hotel is in great location. Overall is very good but for some bizarre reason they don’t give your keys access to the lift, gym etc. you have to go and find someone to activate it whenever you want to go upstairs. This is very frustrating, I had to wait for 10 mins once as the people were all busy at reception. I don’t understand why they won’t give guests the ability to activate the lift themselves???

Uncomfortable beds
Unfortunately a key part of hotels is having somewhere to sleep. It's a shame in this case that the bed was so uncomfortable I barely slept. Overall the hotel was reasonable if expensive but to have beds so hard is unforgivable.
