Nicely renovated. Bed a bit too hard for my taste. Convenient.
Due to covid restrictions, that we were not made aware of, we were locked in our room for the night. We ordered food from the hotels restaurant and it was terrible. In all the experience sucked. We were treated like lepers by the staff.
Excellent customer service the first night we checked in. Water bottles were given to other parties ahead of us. I was also given complimentary water bottles and asked how many I wanted. The next day I asked for a couple of water bottle, the customer service lady name started with letter L was unpleasant, 'what is your room number?' And she started looking up the account so i asked if it was complimentary she said no i had to be hilton member etc. The point is no other customers were being asked the day before, one lady got a bag with 10 water bottles for free. No big deal about free water or not but her attitude just ruined it for me. We found in a our room a pair of pink glasses on the floor (possibly from a previous customer). Made me wonder if the room was actually cleaned and vaccummed because how could you miss that? Overall I do like the hotel room and view and the overall customer service experience
The hotel was very clean and not crowded. Because of Covid there wasn’t very much to do. In a way that was good. The room was only cleaned every third day. Parking was very easy and free. It is perfectly locatedIn one of the nicest areas of town. Downtown is very close with some restaurants that have outside dining. Don’t miss the farmers market.
Nice clean hotel! Looking fit something last minute and this was easy to get to and the view was beautiful! Nice walking paths very close too!
Hands down, this is the BEST hotel I have ever stayed at!!! The service alone blew me away. It’s located right on Hilo Bay, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. The bed was soooo comfortable, the shower was divine, and we had a gorgeous view of the bay, pool, and palm trees/tropical foliage. We were able to see tropical fish, several different types of birds, geckos, chickens, and even sea turtles on the grounds of the property. My family and I never wanted to leave!! During our time on the island, we were involved in a serious car accident which rendered my mom with a broken leg. The staff at the hotel went way above and beyond in order to accommodate us. They were able to get us an ADA room at a moments notice, and also helped us with transportation to and from the hospital while my mom was hospitalized (as our rental car was totaled). They constantly checked in on us, asked us more than daily if we needed anything, and even helped us move from our first room to an ADA room. We are truly touched by their hospitality, and will never forget our stay here. Even our car accident couldn’t put a damper on our stay. We can’t wait to go back!
Great staff and service
The hotel staff were amazing!!! Not only did they accommodate our needs, they were extra sweet to give us an amazing bouquet for my great aunts birthday! Accommodations were immaculate and location stunning . Highly recommend
Our stay was just what we needed. There was an incident where the fire alarm awoke us in the middle of the night which was thankfully, a false alarm. At least it was working! Checking in was easy and we got an upgrade to an ocean view (easily a $300 plus view in Waikoloa). We look forward to staying here again!
