Lots of fun local spots to check out. Walking distance from food, bars, parks & not too far from San Fran if you want to explore the city.

I went there on a Friday the last Friday in July. I called to check on the parking price and the recording said it was $15/day. I mention this when I checked in, and the person at the front counter told me the price had gone up in July. This was the last Friday in July, and the recording had not been updated. I pointed this out again when I was leaving and no one offered to correct the error and they charged me $20/day instead. I will not be staying there again because they all just ignored me when asking about the discrepancy. This is like a store that has a garment with the wrong tag on it. you are suppose to give it to me for that price.

Never again
Front desk guy was drunk and unfriendly, elevator didn't work and no assistance offered with bags, sink was directly in front of the door to the room and tile around it was stained, shower looked like it hadn't seen bleach in years with green stains in the grout, no water pressure and shower head so low that I (5'7") had to duck down to wash my hair, huge gaps around the door and windows, definitely got the serial killer vibe.

No elevator and no air
I was able to check in early, but I asked the receptionist if the elevator was working, she smirked and said it was closed for repairs. I told her I've read reviews stating its been down for 2 months. She said its only been 2 or 3 weeks...I had to lug my 45 lb. Suitcase up 3 flights of stairs (granted the staircase is narrow). Upon entering the room, I noticed the carpet was dirty, furniture worn, and 1 TV in this deluxe king wasn't working. I trekked back to the front desk and informed them of the tv and I didn't get a verbal response? Woke up the next morning around 6 am to no air conditioning. I figure I would wait to see if it would come back on...after playing with the control panel, I walked down to the front desk and informed them that my room was uncomfortable and she offered me a fan, that maintenance wasn't on site I asked if I could get a refund as I had paid for 4 nights. I called hotels com and they handled everything to my satisfaction, I'm grateful for their support and help in helping me rectify this problem. The location was great, close to all the activities that I had planned for the weekend

Think twice about staying here.
Arrived at 9:00 pm and was immediately told there was no elevator. Was not told there was no air conditioning. The room became unbearably hot making it impossible to sleep. It wasn't fixed until Monday. The elevator was never fixed.
