Pretty Much As Expected, But Still Disappointing
It is what one would expect from an HI Express -- affordable, bare-bones, highly basic. Clean and orderly enough; marginally comfortable. Could have done without the loud conversation and commotion in the hall between 10-10:30pm, and again around 3am. That kind of disturbance was not welcome when we had a 4:45am wake up to leave for a surgical procedure. However, in cheap motels, one tends to get such guests (getting the kids out of the house for an affordable weekend) -- disappointed in the adults who were yucking it up out there, however: they should have known better and been more respectful.

Clean comfortable hotel. Updated lobby, breakfast area, and rooms. Plenty of bedsheets and pillows and seating options. Hot breakfast was health conscious with egg whites, turkey sausage. Coffee tasted good. We liked that the room darkening curtains motored all the way down since our room faced the parking lot.

Freight train tracks are in the “backyard” of the hotel and tan frequently through the night. There were also guests very loud possibly in the lobby, for a few hours between 2am-4am and the staff did nothing.
