This hotel has huge potential to be excellent. The man at the front desk is very nice and helpful! We stayed in rooms across the street from the main hotel. The rooms are large and well appointed. The bed is firm, and I prefer a firm bed. The room was not as clean as it should be with huge smudges on every glass and some dust. But the bedding and towels were fresh.
The location of the hotel is excellent!! It’s in a very nice neighborhood just a short walk across the bridge.
There are two issues the hotel needs to fix. First, the rooms we stayed in, 101 and 102, were very, very warm. We stayed in December and had to sleep with the windows wide open. The hotel is on a very busy street and it was rather loud with the windows open. Also, the Internet was so slow it was almost non-existent. We couldn’t even use Wi-Fi to book train tickets because the site wouldn’t load.
We were there two nights and informed the front desk of our concerns after the first night, so they had all day to try and make corrections. Unfortunately, they didn’t. I asked for money off the rooms because of the heat and lack of Wi-Fi, which they agreed to. However I would have preferred them to work properly rather than have to ask for a discount.
If they fix these issues, it would be a very good hotel.
