Room was hot even though it was cold outside and bed was not comfortable. Staff and location were great

Nice
It is a nice location, clean and friendly staff. The only downfall is that I realized when I got home the day we checked out, I realized that I left my really nice slippers in our room. When I called, they said that they did not have anything in their lost and found. When I called, it was only a few hours after we had left. I'm not sure where my slippers disappeared to.

Good room for the price and location
Great room for the price and location. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, I had a better room last time, but was fine with this room. The Keystone is a good bar/restaurant in the hotel which is good for a nightcap. The hotel feels very "old San Francisco" which I like and the location can't be beat. All the employees are really nice and helpful

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel very much. The only thing that was a little unprofessional was that as I was entering my room one of the workers, a young kid, came running up and asked me to check if my room was cleaned already. Shouldn't you know if it's clean before you give them the keys?

Would stay there again
I thought the hotel was cute and charming. Unfortunately we came at a time when there was a strike going on across the street, so that was a bit noisy and it thankfully didn’t go all night. Our room seemed a little stuffy like there was no air flow. The beds were comfortable and the room served its purpose of being able to sleep in and have a bathroom. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe and there was someone at the front desk 24/7.
