Ling Ling at the front desk was amazing. She resolved a booking issue quickly. We stayed just after an Easter event and chocolate candy was left in the carpets the entire time we stayed there. The carpets and bathroom in our room hadn’t been cleaned. It was gross. Room service was very pushy. They didn’t seem to understand what the do not disturb signs mean. Austin was very helpful down at the pool. Answered all our questions and set up everything for us. The beach was amazing and not very crowded. Parking can be a challenge. There aren’t enough spots in the garage for guests. Unless you want to pay for valet.

Good but
Our stay in Kahala was the best and will go back dues to the amenities and comparing it to waikiki hotels we find it more peaceful. However, when we checked our they had put in parking fees and we didnt have a car to begin with. I trusted the staff that when Carolyn said that it was all meals, i agreed and didnt bother to check.

The hotel rooms specifically bathrooms are in need of a complete renovation/ Refurbish. New floors and carpets. It’s noise level is high between suites as well on the ground floor rooms. Restaurants need to be open much much later and/or having a more stocked convenience store on site would serve your guests well. Your service staff at the beach bar and seaside grill very friendly and accommodating. A more affordable happy hour would be beneficial. The veranda in the evening with it’s live music was lovely. A daily shuttle service to Waikiki would make this property more desirable to stay at in the future. Yoga should definitely be complimentary at a resort of this caliber. (As at the Royal Hawaiian) More people would attend. Reggie in security went above and beyond during my stay, well done! Unheard of kindness and efforts! Unbelievable.. Overall
